Centralia Chapter

The Centralia Chapter of the Shawnee Freshwater Prawn Growers Association held it's first meeting March 4th 2003 @ the Seip Office Building in Centralia, Illinois.  JC & Brenda Lyons were instrumental in the formation of the subchapter as well as president, Bobby Boyd.  Several members traveled to Centralia to hold the first meeting including Boyd and Chester Webb. 

2005 Director’s Elected – The Shawnee Freshwater Prawn Growers Association’s Centralia Chapter elected their 2005 directors at their Annual meeting January 18, 2005. Their goal for the coming year is to develop a thriving aquaculture business in Southern Illinois through Best Management Practices.
